 Distribution of compensations to citizens affected by the Port of Beirut blast

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 16/02/2021, relevant LAF units resumed the distribution of compensation to citizens who have been affected by the Port of Beirut blast. An amount of 4.033.100.000 LBP has been distributed, and 622 residential units have benefited from the compensations categorized as average and below in these areas: Karantina, Mar Mikhael, Gemayzeh, Corniche Al-Nahr, Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Mudawar, Rumail, Al-Roum, Rizk, Adlieh, Tabaris, Bourj Hammoud, Dora coast waterfront.

Aid distribution will be completed tomorrow in the mentioned areas and Ein al Mraiseh.
