Exceptional security measures pursuant to the curfew decision

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Army units deployed throughout the Lebanese regions implemented exceptional measures pursuant to the curfew decision between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. in addition to monitoring the level of abidance with this decision with regard to businesses who were ordered to close.

The Army Command stresses the need to abide by the general mobilization decision and calls upon the citizens to remain in their homes and to avoid leaving them only when strictly necessary. The citizens are asked to abstain from gathering for any reason under penalty of prosecution.
