Explosion of a bomb in Ain – Baalbeck

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: 

Around 6.30 this morning, a bomb exploded in a Van in Ain – Baalbeck, in which the vice head of municipality Mr. Khaled Ali el Houri and Mr. Mohammad Qassem el Houry were targeted. As a result of this incident, Khaled was killed and Mahmoud was severely injured and transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment. Army forces cordoned off the area and the military expert inspected the location of the explosion in order to determine the bomb’s size and source while the military police investigated in the incident.
