Foiling an Illegal Smuggling Operation of People by Sea

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation, issued the following statement:

Within the framework of monitoring and follow-up operations aimed at combating infiltration and smuggling activities, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate was able to foil an operation to smuggle 11 people by sea in an illegal manner off the coast of Al Mina - Tripoli, and seized two boats that were prepared for use in the operation.

The investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
