Follow up of the previous statement concerning a raid performed by LAF forces in Ersal

Following its previous statement related to an army force executing a raid in Ersal and arresting 10 dangerous terrorists, the Army Command would like to clarify that during the operation, the terrorists opened fire towards the raiding force who returned fire, causing the death of the prince of the terrorist ISIS organization in Qalamoun, Syrian Hassan Mleis who had participated along with the armed groups in attacking LAF posts and breaking into an ISF building as well as kidnapping soldiers in Ersal on 02/08/2014.
Investigations are ongoing with the arrested Syrian individuals: Fawzi Mohammad El-Sahli, Alaa Khalil El-Halabi, Ahmad Hassan Mayman, Abdallah Abdel karim Hassian, Ahmad Fawzi El-Sahli and Mohammad Fawzi El-Sahli as well as Lebanese individuals: Wael Dib El-Flayti, Hussein Dib El-Flayti, Amin Mohammad Hmayed and Mahmoud Dib El-Flayti.
