Funeral of the martyr soldier Amer Moustapha el-Mohammad in the village of Mashta Hasan – Akkar

The Army Command and the citizens of Mashta Hasan – Akkar organized the funeral of the soldier Moustapha el-Mohammad who martyred yesterday at night in the village of Bkaasofrin – Donniyeh where the protocol ceremony was performed in front of the Family Medical Center in Majdlaya – Zgharta and the body of the martyr received the Medal of War, the Medal of the wounded and the Medal of Military Appreciation Bronze Degree. Following the ceremony, the body of the martyr was transported to his village where the ritual prayers were performed and Colonel Toufic Yazbeck who represented both the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense and the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi on the occasion delivered a speech in which he praised the qualities of the martyr and his devotion in performing his military duty. “The Army, and as always, will not remain silent vis-à-vis the attempts made to target its troops and will lie in wait with the aim of arresting the criminals and bringing them before justice where they will receive the proper punishment. Furthermore, the Army will keep on performing preemptive security operations against the terrorists and criminals since these operations have previously managed to thwart their schemes and will spare the lives of many civilians and shall not be deterred from continuing these qualitative operations in the face of any treacherous aggression that Army troops might encounter in any region” Colonel Toufic Yazbek added.
