General Aoun met with the general examining committee responsible for the Military Academy entrance exams

Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh members of the general examining committee responsible for the Military Academy entrance exams which included army officers as well as officers from different security agencies. General Aoun praised the professionalism and integrity of the committee members as well as their insistence to apply strict standards adopted by the Army Command in choosing the best and the elite from those who apply to join the Military Academy.

“I congratulate you for this achievement that you repeated after last year’s feat. You have worked while relying on your conscience and sense of transparency despite the pressures and intervention attempts made by some parties to choose only the best to enlist in the Military Institution that is the Institution of honor, sacrifice and loyalty” General Aoun said in his speech. He added that “the feat that you have accomplished will have immense results in the future. This feat is not limited in time as it is the case with military battles that reveal immediate results since choosing the best to join the Military Academy is a long term strategy aimed at upbringing a new generation based on developed standards to lead the Military Institution later on and the other security agencies. Those will be tomorrow’s men and heroes”.

General Aoun noted that the entrance exams may be classified as a ranking contest to choose the best and concluded his speech by saying that the results were highly accurate.”
