General Aoun participates in a meeting to support the army in Italy

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun participated in a meeting to support the army in Italy, along with the leaders of the armies of Italy, France, Spain, Germany, and Britain, namely Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, General Thierry Burkhard, Admiral Teodoro Esteban López Calderón, General Carsten Breuer, and Admiral Tony Radakin.

General Aoun presented the current situation of the army and the challenges it faces across various aspects. Discussions were held on ways to support and strengthen its capabilities.

The participants praised the army's role in protecting security and stability, emphasizing the importance of supporting and assisting it in overcoming the exceptional difficulties in the present phase.

General Aoun also met with the Italian Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, in the presence of the Italian Army Commander. Then, he met with the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the Director of Foreign Intelligence, General Giovanni Caravelli.
