General Haykal Continues His Field Visits, Inspects Army Units Deployed in Saida and Saadiyat, and Offers Condolences to the Families of Fallen Soldiers: "Our Sect Is Lebanon, and Our Faith in Our Mission Remains Firm and Unwavering”

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal, continued his field visits, touring the 1st Infantry Brigade Headquarters at Mohammad Zgheib Barracks in Saida and the 8th Infantry Brigade in Saadiyat. He reviewed the operational deployment of the units and the security missions being carried out within their area of responsibility.

General Haykal began his tour by congratulating the troops on the occasion of the 81st Lebanese Army Day, commending their efforts and sacrifices. He stressed that the strength of the armed forces is measured by their determination and commitment, not by their equipment and weaponry.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining readiness and preparedness to make further sacrifices, he told the soldiers: "We are exerting every possible effort to fulfill our duty despite significant challenges. The Army has faced major trials over the past period, particularly those resulting from the Israeli aggression, and it has emerged more united and more committed to its mission."

He added: "The Lebanese people place their hopes in the Army and see it as the guardian of their security because of its resolute and professional performance. Lebanon is our only sect, and our faith in our mission remains firm and unwavering."

He concluded by urging the troops not to be influenced by rumors.

General Haykal also extended his condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, praising their dedication, sincerity in the fulfillment of their duty, and the precious sacrifices they made for the nation.
