Graduation ceremony of conscripts in Mohammad Makki Teaching Academy – Baalbek

Mohammad Makki Teaching Academy – Baalbek hosted this morning the graduation ceremony of conscripts (extended services) following the completion of their designated training period. Brigadier General P.S.C Maroun Mhanna headed the ceremony and represented Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun. The relatives of the graduates attended the ceremony along with a number of officers. Brigadier General P.S.C Mhanna said in his speech, “you are currently at the beginning of a new stage in your military career. I urge you to be the role model in your units and among your commanding officers and comrades in terms of abiding by the rules of military discipline, respecting rules and regulations and showing enthusiasm in performing your duties while being characterized by the will to give sacrifices and show patience to overcome hardships. Always remember that the Army consists of troops from all over the country and acts in the service of the whole country based on the principles of justice and equality”.

The ceremony ended with a military parade in which all the graduates participated.
