The graduation ceremony of female privates who completed their assigned training period was celebrated today at noon in the Republic Guards Brigade. The ceremony was headed by the representative of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, the Commander of the Brigade, Brigadier General Salim Feghali and was attended by a crowd of trainers, officers and the relatives of the graduates.
Brigadier General Feghali delivered a speech on the occasion in which he said: “This course that you have attended represents once again an aspect of unity between the army and citizens with all their confessions and sectors as well as the mutual openness to anything that would contribute to developing the Lebanese society and showcasing its humanitarian and civilizational face.
What gives you more pride in this graduation is that it comes in time of the historic victory accomplished by the army over terrorism in the Dawn of the Jurds operation, where a precious part of our national land was liberated at the eastern border and the bodies of those who have martyred between the claws of the vicious terrorism were retrieved, so that they are honored nationally and popularly along with other brave martyrs who have fallen in this exceptional battle. ”
A military parade was organized at the end of the ceremony in which all the graduates have participated.
