Graduation ceremony of NCO Cadets

The Training Academy – Barrack of Mohammad Makki – Baalbeck hosted this morning the graduation ceremony of NCO cadets who successfully completed the designated training period. The ceremony was headed by the LAF Chief of Staff Major General P.S.C Walid Salman who represented the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi. Public, religious and social figures of the region attended the ceremony in addition to a large number of Army officers, Army units’ commanders, officers from different security agencies and the parents of the graduates.

The ceremony began with the national anthem and the anthem of the martyrs. Following these rituals, the graduates presented the NCO’s school banner to the second year cadets and the Chief of Staff named the Course after martyr Adjutant Riad Kassem Abdallah. The certificates were presented to the graduates who took the oath.

Major General P.S.C Salman congratulated the graduated and their parents stressing the importance of NCOs in the Army since they represent the nerve of the military body and the link between soldiers and officers. “the Lebanese youth’s strive to enlist in the Army, during this critical stage of its history, is a source of pride to all the Lebanese people, for their sons and brothers will contribute effectively in the Army which is engaging in the fiercest confrontations with the terrorist groups to defend Lebanon.

Be confident that just as the Army has succeeded in thwarting the schemes of the Israeli enemy and terrorist organizations in the past and safeguarded the country and the citizens from the dangers of chaos, strife and dispersion, it will also succeed in the future thanks to the forearms of the troops and the people’s support. The Army’s determination and will shall prevail over any other force, regardless of its power for we are the guardians of this land and the swords of truth that are extended to confront any aggressor targeting the country’s safety and the dignity of the citizens” Major General P.S.C Salman added.

A military parade took place at the end of the ceremony in which all the graduates have participated.
