Graduation ceremony of privates

The graduation ceremony of privates and recruits whose services were prolonged, having completed their assigned training period, was celebrated today at noon in Araman training camp. The ceremony was headed by the commander of the camp and the LAF Commander representative Brigadier General George Karkafi and was attended by a crowd of officers.
Brigadier General Karkafi delivered a speech on the occasion in which he said: “in the frame of the 73rd Independence Day, I call upon you to keep in mind the noble national significance of this occasion in every mission that you perform. Always remember the accomplishments of the statesmen who resisted and sacrificed for the sake of accomplishing the Independence. Furthermore, remember as well your martyr comrades who sacrificed their souls in the fields of honor and duty in order to preserve this historic accomplishment in Lebanon’s journey.”
A military parade was organized at the end of the ceremony in which all the graduates have participated.
