Graduation Ceremony of Recruits with Extended Services

A graduation ceremony of Recruits with Extended Services was held this morning at the Marine Commandos Regiment after they completed the required training period. The ceremony was headed by the Regiment Commander, representing the LAF Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, and was attended by several officers.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Bassem Al Ayoubi, Commander of the Regiment, delivered a speech in which he said:
“Joining the military institution at this delicate stage our nation is going through affirms that the spirit of patriotism is deeply rooted in you, and your oath is the best proof of your faith in the LAF as an institution that unites all Lebanese.”
At the conclusion, a military parade was held with the participation of the graduating recruits.
