Graduation ceremony for the second course in International Humanitarian Law for students from the Faculty of Information
A graduation ceremony and certificate distribution was held at Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and General Staff for a number of students from the Lebanese University and private universities, Faculties of Information, in the presence of Brigadier General P.S.C Hasan Jouny the representative of the Army Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun and the Colonel P.S.C Ziad Rizkallah, acting director of the directorate of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, directors from the aforementioned Academies and a number of officers. This is after the students followed the second course in International Humanitarian Law organized by the Directorate of International Humanitarian Law in cooperation with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Association.
Brigadier General Jouny delivered a speech in which he said: "Fouad Chehab Academy for Command and General Staff teaches international humanitarian law and how to apply and adhere to its rules, because we belong to a civilized army that observes international laws and is actually committed to them in all its security and military missions".
Colonel Ziad Rizkallah also delivered a speech in which he said: "We learned during this course that armies that integrate law with military education and training
