The graduation ceremony of troops from the Republican Guard brigade

The graduation ceremony of troops from the Republican Guard Brigade, having attended the “security and figures protection” and “raids and swift intervention” courses under the supervision of a specialized Italian training team, was held this morning in Saiid el Khatib Barrack – Hammana with the presence of the commander of the Republican Guard Brigade Brigadier General Salim Khalil Feghali representing the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Massimo Marotti and military attaché Colonel Massimiliano Sforza along with several officers.

The ceremony included a maneuver using figure-escorting vehicles and the swift measures taken when a figure is under a terrorist incident as well as raiding and taking control of a building where terrorists are entrenched.

In the end, commemorative shields were offered to Ambassador Marotti and military attaché Colonel Sforza as well as the members of the Italian training team and certificates were distributed to the graduates.
