Handover Ceremony of a Donation Provided by the European Union to the Army

A ceremony was held at the Logistics Brigade Command in Kfarchima to mark the handover of a donation from the European Union to the Lebanese Army. The donation includes engineering vehicles, transport vehicles, electric generators, and various types of equipment.

The ceremony was attended by the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, representing the Acting Army Commander, Major General Hassan Audi and a number of officers.

At the end of the ceremony, Brigadier General Amin Al Kaii, Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, read a letter of appreciation on behalf of the Acting Army Commander, expressing his gratitude for the European Union’s continued support for the Army. The letter was then presented to Ms. Kallas.

The donation aims to strengthen the operational capabilities of Army units and meet their logistical needs as they continue to carry out missions across Lebanon under the current circumstances.
