The handover ceremony of several military equipment offered by the Italian authorities to the LAF

The handover ceremony of several military equipment offered by the Italian ‎authorities to the LAF was held today in the Republican Guard Barrack with the presence of the Commander of the Brigade, Brigadier General Salim Khalil Feghali, representing the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun and the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Massimo Marotti who was heading an accompanying delegation. Ambassador Marotti delivered a speech on the occasion in which he expressed his country’s appreciation of the efforts exerted by the LAF in preserving Lebanon’s security and stability and confirming their commitment to carry on with the military support in the coming phase.

Brigadier General Feghali also delivered a letter of appreciation on behalf of General Aoun to the Italian Ambassador and offered to him and to the military attaché of MIBIL the LAF commemorative shield as token of appreciation and gratitude.
