His Excellency the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun visited the Army Command Headquarters in Yarzeh

His Excellency the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun visited the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun in the Army Command Headquarters in Yarzeh where they discussed the situation of the Military Institution as well as the Army’s different needs and tasks. Following the visit, both men headed to the Command Operations Room along with the Minister of National Defense Mr. Yaacoub el-Sarraf where the President listened to a briefing that highlighted the security and defense deployment of the Lebanese Army units and particularly the missions conducted by army units at the eastern border. Furthermore, the President watched a live streaming of a qualitative operation conducted by Lebanese Air Force helicopters that targeted objectives belonging to terrorist organizations in the barren hills of Ersal and Ras – Baalbek.
