Inauguration of the Bridge Simulator at the Jounieh Naval Base with support from the German authorities

A ceremony was held at the Jounieh Naval Base to inaugurate the bridge simulator, supported by the German authorities, in the presence of the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Stoeckl-Stillfried, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment representing the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, as well as a number of officers and military attachés.

During the ceremony, Brigadier General Amin Al Kaai, Deputy Chief of Staff for Equipment, delivered a speech in which he stated: ‘The continuous support we receive from friend countries, especially Germany, holds great material and moral value. It not only enhances the Army’s various capabilities, but also reflects the German authorities’ commitment to the longstanding relationship of goodwill and cooperation between us’.

The German Ambassador also emphasized the importance of cooperating with and supporting the Army, given its vital role in maintaining Lebanon’s security and stability. He also commended the Naval Forces for their professionalism and high level of expertise.
