An individual arrested and an amount of gasoline and diesel seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 16/4/2021, an army unit in Hosh Al-Sayed Ali - Hermel arrested a citizen while trying to smuggle 2000 liters of diesel fuel towards Syrian territory in a pickup.

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in Majdal Anjar raided the residence of a citizen and seized around 1090 liters of gasoline, which was in storage and prepared for smuggling to Syria.

The arrested individual and the seized items were turned in to the competent authorities.
