Individual arrested in Dahr Nassar – Akkar

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 15/05/2022, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Dahr Nassar – Akkar the citizen (Y.M.) for opening fire with a firearm towards a military post in the region, which led to the injury of two soldiers. The personnel returned fire resulting in the injury of the arrestee. The used firearm and its ammunition were seized.
The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
