Individual referred to the Competent Judicial Authority for ISIS Affiliation and Planning Terrorist Activities

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Army continues to pursue investigations into security cases related to individuals affiliated with terrorist organizations and those planning attacks against citizens. In this context, the Directorate of Intelligence referred the unregistered Lebanese (AA.KH.H.) to the competent judicial authority on 4/12/2025 due to his affiliation with the ISIS terrorist organization and for leading a terrorist cell in Wadi Khaled – Akkar, following the arrest of its mastermind, the Lebanese citizen (Y.Sh.), known as “Abu Youssef”, on 3/1/2025.

(AA.KH.H.)  had been involved in transporting explosive devices and funds sent by the organization's leadership for the benefit of the aforementioned terrorist cell, with the aim of carrying out security operations inside Lebanese territory.
