Individuals arrested and an amount of fuel and flour set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 19-20/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 7 citizens and 2 Syrians and seized 4 cars, 2 Pickups, all loaded with 4000 liters of gas and 870 liters of diesel, a van transporting 10 tons of flour, set for being smuggled into Syrian territories.

The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
