Individuals arrested and an amount of fuel and foodstuff set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 05/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 8 citizens and seized 3 cisterns, a pickup, a motorcycle, 23.000 liters of diesel, 1024 liters of gas and 2321 boxes of margarine, set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.

The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
