Individuals arrested for preparing for illegal immigration by sea

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 12/09/2022, following confirmed information about persons in El Maarad-Tripoli preparing for illegal immigration through the sea by the city’s port, an army force headed to the aforementioned place and arrested 84 syrians and one citizen.

The investigation began with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
