Individuals arrested in Taraya and Hay El Jamaa- Dahieh Janoubye

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 8/1/2023, a patrol from the intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (M.F.) in Taraya-Bekaa for shooting at the citizen (H.I.) in Hay El Sellom- Dahieh Janoubye during a dispute which led to his demise.

The patrol also arrested the citizen (H.F.), the shooter's brother, in Hay Al-Jamaa -Dahieh Janoubye, for his participation in the aforementioned dispute and for being wanted under arrest warrants for shooting. Citizens (M.A.F.) and (A.F.) were also arrested for possessing two Kalashnikov weapons and military equipment.

The seized items were handed over and investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
