Individuals arrested for throwing a hand grenade

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

After several individuals attacked a post belonging to a political party as well as a branch for a bank, a patrol for the LAF arrested in Jemmayzet – Tripoli 4 individuals. An individual threw a hand grenade towards the troops without it exploding. A soldier was also injured after being thrown with stone by a protestor and 2 motorcycles were confiscated.

Interrogation with the arrested individuals was carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
