Indivuals arrested in al-Kafaat and Sabra

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the wanted (F.F.) in al-Kafaat – Baabda for trafficking weapons and ammunition and shooting.
The arrestee was seized in possession of an amount of ammunition.
During the investigation, he admitted to purchasing and selling large quantities of weapons in all Lebanese regions.

A patrol from the aforementioned Directorate also arrested the Palestinians (J.M.) and (Y.Z.), the Egyptian (A.N.) and the citizen (A.J.) in Sabra – al-Horch, for promoting and abusing narcotics, shooting on several occasions in various places on different dates, intimidating citizens and forming, along with others, a theft and robbery gang.
The arrestees were seized in possession of counterfeit currency and narcotics.
The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
