An Intelligence Directorate patrol came under fire in Hellaniye - Beqaa

The Army Headquarters- Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On the same date, while an Intelligence Directorate patrol was in Hellaniye - Beqaa, an ISF patrol reported being under fire by armed individuals riding a Range Rover - Supercharge. While the Intelligence patrol was moving around the region, it came across the mentioned car and the individuals riding it opened fire towards the members of the patrol and damaged their vehicle with several bullets. Therefore, the Intelligence Directorate troops returned fire, leading to the death of Abbas Rameh Dandash and the arrest of Hussein Nasri Dandash, both having a criminal history and wanted for several arrest warrants.
It was revealed that Hussein Dandash was roaming with a fake ID under the name of Khalil Ali Hashem and that the Range Rover was stolen using weapons on the same date from Mont La Salle - Metn and it has a fake license plate.
