The Israeli enemy attempted to kidnap a shepherd in Chebaa

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, at 13.00, an Israeli enemy foot patrol consisting of 5 troops trespassed the spiked wire and breached the withdrawal line 50 meters into the Lebanese disouted territories in Berkat el Naqqar – Chebaa and attempted to kidnap a Lebanese shepherd without succeeding. The troops withdrew later toward the occupied territories.

Following this incident, army forces took the appropriate measures and the issue is being followed up with the UNIFIL in order to resolve the mentioned breach.
