Israeli enemy foot patrol crossed the withdrawal line and attempted to kidnap a Lebanese shepherd

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An Israeli enemy foot patrol consisting of 9 troops crossed the withdrawal line yesterday at 12:20 and entered 30 meters inside contested Lebanese territories in Jabal el-Shahel – Chebaa. The enemy patrol members attempted to kidnap a Lebanese shepherd without success. However, the enemy troops took a part of the shepherd’s cattle and returned it in the evening to the Lebanese territories.
Army troops stationed in the area took the appropriate measures and the violation is currently being followed up with the UNIFIL.
