The LAF carries out a series of raids in Bekaa in search of wanted individuals and arrests three of them

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The LAF carried out a series of raids in Beqaa in search of wanted individuals. In this context, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, supported by a LAF unit, raided the residences of several suspects in Hermel and arrested two citizens, (AA.S.) and (H.Z.), for committing various crimes, including armed kidnapping, smuggling people across the border, trafficking in military weapons and drugs, and shooting. A large quantity of drugs, as well as military ammunition and equipment, were seized in their possession.

Additionally, a LAF unit supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in Taria – Baalbek, and arrested citizen (M.H.), who was wanted for shooting. A quantity of weapons and military ammunition was found in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
