The LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun in a visit to Turkey

The LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun answered the invitation of his counterpart the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces General Yaşar Güler, to visit Turkey, with the aim of discussing ways to continue supporting LAF and strengthen the relation between the two armies.

A welcoming ceremony was arranged for General Aoun in the Turkish Army Staff HQ, where he met General Güler and discussed with him matters concerning the military institution.

Güler stressed his country and army’s support for LAF, which faces many challenges under these economic circumstances Lebanon is living.

General Aoun expressed his thanks for Güler for his invitation and for supporting LAF.
