LAF Commander Offers Condolences to Families of Fallen Soldiers
LAF Commander General Rodolph Haykal offered his condolences to the family of Lieutenant Martyr Mohammad Ismail in Chhim – Chouf, and to the family of First Adjutant Martyr Rifaat Al Tuaimi in Shahabiyet Al Faour – Zahle. Both were martyred while inspecting an Israeli enemy drone that had crashed in the Naqoura area.
General Haykal affirmed that the military institution takes pride in its martyrs, draws strength and determination from them, and deeply values the sacrifices of their families. He emphasized that the LAF represents the broader family of the martyrs’ loved ones and continuously works to support them.
He also pointed out that the military units deployed in the South are carrying out critical, difficult, and highly sensitive missions, and—alongside other LAF units—are exerting tremendous efforts to steer the nation toward safety and stability.
The LAF Commander also extended his condolences to the family of recruit (with extended services) Martyr Yamen Al Hallak in the town of Al Abboudiyeh – Akkar, who was martyred as a result of an explosion in a weapons and ammunition depot in Wadi Zebqin – Tyre.
Addressing the martyr’s family, General Haykal said:
The blood of our martyrs is sacred, and we honor it with unwavering loyalty. Every time I enter the home of a fallen soldier, I am moved by your love, your strength, and the trust you place in the LAF. The solidarity of the martyrs’ families with the military stands as a powerful symbol of true patriotism. We remain steadfast in our mission—for Lebanon and its people—and no challenge will deter us from carrying out our duty.
