The LAF Continues Pursuing Wanted Individuals and Security Offenders, and Arrests 3 Citizens for Various Crimes, Including Involvement in an Armed Clash

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
LAF units continue to pursue wanted individuals and those disturbing public order in various Lebanese regions. In this context, a unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the residences of individuals involved in a previous armed clash that included an exchange of fire in Bzal – Akkar, due to personal disputes. The raid resulted in the arrest of citizens (AA.AA.) and (AA.M.), and the seizure of a military weapon and a quantity of ammunition in their possession.
Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the citizen (M.Z.) in Sahraa Choueifat – Aley, wanted for committing several crimes, including trafficking in military weapons and drugs, shooting, and inciting altercations. A handgun was also seized from his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
