LAF denies news reported on social media pages

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A social media page reported news stating that the Dutch search and rescue team was denied entry to the Port of Beirut to assist in the rescue efforts.
The Army Command would like to deny these allegations altogether and notes that the above-mentioned team was not denied entry and was able to assist in the rescue operations and the ongoing search at the Port of Beirut. Furthermore, the mentioned team is currently working unhindered in its sector.
The Army Command urges the citizens to abstain from spreading such rumors or getting misled by them, and to resort to the statements issued by the Directorate of Orientation on its official social media pages and its applications: LAF News, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the army official website.
