The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, visited the Logistics Brigade at Youssef Al Osta Barrack in Kfarshima. He met with officers and military personnel and observed the work progress in the brigade's directorates and departments, particularly the factories and newly established units. He heard a briefing on their missions and modernization plans.
He stressed the importance of logistics and its active role, especially during times of crisis. Addressing the personnel, he stated, "Despite the challenging circumstances we are facing, the Logistic Brigade continues to evolve thanks to strong determination, initiative, and proper planning."
General Aoun also commended the efforts of the personnel in enhancing the capabilities of the LAF, highlighting that success stems from willpower, and while wars are fought with weapons, victory is achieved through the dedication of individuals.
He then proceeded to the Directorate of Telecommunications, where he visited the Network and Systems Management Room (NOC) and the Operations Center. He examined the processing operations and future projects of the directorate.
He expressed his appreciation, stating, "You are the backbone of the army. I congratulate you on the achievements you have made within the available resources over the past four years, amidst one of the worst crises witnessed by the military institution. This reflects your belief in Lebanon and the institution, and your creativity in turning crises into opportunities. There is no room for the word 'impossible' except in the dictionary of the weak. The nation is our responsibility, the LAF is the rock of Lebanon, and you are the rock of the LAF. Therefore, always be accountable."
