Live fire night drill in the shooting range of Hannoush – Hamat

Units from the 2^nd Infantry Brigade assisted by units from the Air Force, the Navy, the Engineering Regiment, the Rangers and 2^nd Artillery Regiment conducted a live fire drill at the shooting range of Hannoush – Hamat. The drill simulated decimating a terrorist group entrenched inside urban areas. Helicopters, tanks as well as medium and high caliber weapons were used during the drill and explosives were detonated. The drill also included air support operations and medical evacuations on board helicopters.

This drill is part of the qualitative training plan set by the Army Command to ensure the units readiness and preparedness to intervene swiftly and effectively in different combat circumstances.
