Major Rodolphe Akel chosen for the Red Bull X-Alps Championship 2019

32 elite professional athletes from 20 different countries around the globe and chosen according to the highest standards of mental, physical and psychological capabilities. These athletes will be competing in an international contest in the sports of (Mountaineering, paragliding, ice walking, climbing).

The distance of the race over one of the highest and most challenging mountain ranges in the world, which start in Austria, stretch to the Alps and ends in Monaco, is 11000 kilometers according to the map.

For the first time ever, Major Rodolphe Akel from the Rangers Regiment in the LAF will be standing on the starting line as the first competitor from an Arab country to participate in Red Bull X-Alps Championship 2019, the toughest and most demanding race around the world.
