A maneuver in Hannoush – Hamat
Under the supervision of the Special Forces School, 2nd year cadet officers, with the participation of units from the air and naval forces, the 12th Infantry Regiment, the rangers regiment, navy seals regiment, the 2nd artillery regiment, the engineering regiment and the military healthcare regiment performed a live fire maneuver in Hanoush – Hamat, simulating taking down a terrorist group hiding in built areas.
During the maneuver, shootings with helicopters and medium weapons took place and explosives were detonated. The maneuver also included air support and disembarkation as well as the evacuation of injured individuals from the battlefield using vehicles.
This maneuver comes in the frame of the combat training program intended for cadet NCOs.
