Meeting held between the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun and the heads of security agencies

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun held a meeting in his office in Yarzeh with the heads of security agencies. The meeting included the General Director of the ISF Major General Imad Othman, General Director of State Security Major General Toni Saliba, Brigadier General Riyad Taha who represented the General Director of General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim, the Director of the Directorate of Intelligence Brigadier General P.S.C Antoine Mansour in addition to the Adviser of His Excellency the President of the Republic for Security and Military Affairs.

The participants discussed the security situation in the country and the means to boost cooperation and coordination procedures between all the security agencies in light of the recent developments and particularly in terms of tracking down terrorist networks and cells, fighting organized crime and individual crimes as well as taking all necessary measures to keep peace and stability during the Holy Eid of Al-Fitr.
