A meeting at the Ministry of Defense to discuss the budgets of the military and security agencies

The Defense Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon, Zeina Akar, held a meeting to discuss the budgets of the military and security agencies, in the presence of the Lebanese Minister of Interior Affairs Mohammad Fahmi, LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun, the Director of State Security, Major General Tony Saliba accompanied by Brigadier General Amer Al-Mays, Brigadier General Elias Al-Baysari representing the Director of General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Wassim Munzer, and Brigadier General Said Fawaz representing the Director of Internal Security Forces Major General Imad Othman accompanied by Colonel Engineer Issam Taqoush, Brigadier General Fares Fares and Brigadier General Yusef Khoury Hanna have also participated in the meeting.
The participants presented the budgets of the military and security agencies and discussed their related material. It was agreed to develop a number of proposals for the amendment of various provisions of the 2021 budget.
