Meetings of the Armed Forces Commander

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Secretary General of the Arab League Mr. Ahmad Abou el-Ghayt. Discussions during the visit addressed the general situation in Lebanon and the region. General Aoun also met with the United States Central Command Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Gessrey Harrigian who headed an accompanying delegation. Talks during the visit tackled the ties of cooperation in the field of bolstering the Lebanese Army Air Force capabilities as part of the United States Aid Program.
In related news, General Aoun received the Head of the Popular Bloc Ms. Miriam Skaff with whom he discussed the latest development and another meeting joined General Aoun with the Head of Aqaibe Municipality who headed an accompanying delegation.
