Memorandum of cooperation signed between the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Ministry of Public Works & Transport

The Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker ministry, Dr. Ali Hammieh, and the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun signed a cooperation agreement at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport. The agreement ensures that the army provides specialized officers to the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority to serve as Air Traffic Control Assistants with the aim of ensuring the continuity of work in the air navigation service.
Minister Hammieh expressed his gratitude to the Lebanese Armed Forces Command for its ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and for providing it with various expertise to compensate for the shortage of human resources due to the ongoing crisis. He also praised the high efficiency of the military personnel.
