Outcome of the Comprehensive Security Measures on the Night of 18–19/12/2025

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On the night of 18–19/12/2025, the Army carried out exceptional security measures across various regions as part of its missions to maintain security and pursue wanted individuals. A number of persons of different nationalities were arrested for their involvement in multiple crimes, including drug trafficking, theft, smuggling, possession of weapons and prohibited items, and illegal movement within Lebanese territory.
The seized items included quantities of drugs, various military weapons, amounts of ammunition, in addition to a number of illegal vehicles and motorcycles.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
