Outcome of the Comprehensive Security Measures on the Night of 9–10/12/2025

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On the night of 9–10/12/2025, the Army carried out exceptional security measures across various regions as part of its missions to maintain security and pursue wanted individuals. A total of 45 persons of different nationalities were arrested for involvement in multiple crimes, including drug trafficking, theft, smuggling, possession of weapons and contraband, and illegal presence on Lebanese territory.

The seizures included various types of military weapons, quantities of light and medium ammunition, several illegal vehicles and motorcycles, in addition to a quantity of drugs.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
