A patrol under fire during a raid on the location of wanted individuals in Al-Assayra area - Baalbeck

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 22/02/2021, While an army force was carrying out a raid on wanted individuals in the Al-Assayra area - Baalbeck, it came under fire, and the patrol members responded to the sources of fire, which led to light injury to one of the officers and the death of (H.Y), and arrested (R.A.). The issue is being followed up to arrest the remaining fugitives.

An Investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the valid judiciary authorities
