Raid and arrests in Wadi el-Araneb – Ersal

On 29/10/2018, a LAF unit raided the camp of Wadi el-Araneb – Ersal where a sum of money and gold jewelry were confiscated. The troops of the unit arrested 121 Syrian nationals during the raid and investigations revealed that 21 of them are wanted according to judicial warrants, 49 are wanted for their illegal entry into Lebanese territories, 46 others are wanted for holding expired documents and 5 others for roaming without identification cards.
Investigation is underway under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
