Raiding the residence of a wanted individual and arresting him in Raml el Aali and confiscating combat weapons and narcotics

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, an intelligence directorate patrol raided the residence of Qassem Khaddouj in Raml el Aali, wanted for narcotics trafficking and opening fire in different locations. During the raid, Khaddouj opened fire towards the patrol, leading the troops to return fire, causing his injury in his feet and left hand. The patrol confiscated in his possession weapons and combat ammunition as well as surveillance cameras and DVRs in addition to various amounts of narcotics.

The arrested individual was transferred to a local hospital for treatment while the confiscated items were apprehended and investigation was carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
